ATC14 Official Schedule

ATC14’s Special Challenge: Weather Roulette
Round 8 at Road Atlanta will feature special rapid-fire weather changes that will be randomly generated just before the server opens. An example of what that might look like is provided below. Enjoy that Georgia sunshine.

Sprints have been equalized
Sprints will all be 25m/25m with a 12 car invert for the second race, and no pitstop. Only endurance rounds will feature pit stops this season.
Points have been re-calibrated
The point system has been altered to equalize the amount of points each sprint race is worth. This has had minor effects on endurance points payouts as well. Bonus points are now worth 4 in endurance races, and 2 in sprint races. The bonus point for leading a lap has been removed.

Bonus points now awarded per race, not per round
Previously, bonus points were calculated per round; having less than 4 incidents across both sprint races, for example. Now they will be calculated per race, but only worth 2 points in sprint challenge races to keep the points on offer between formats equal.
Weather will be slightly more customized
Expect wetter weather, and some fun forecasts. It’s spring! (in the northern hemisphere at least)
Daylight savings time
The start time of our races has changed back to GMT-4 from GMT-5, as the USA will be on daylight savings time again for next season.
Special Off-Season Oval Clash
This off-season, our special event is a doubleheader at Thompson Speedway! Come test your touring car mettle on an oval. This is not a points-paying event.
Thruxton Circuit Special Event
iRacing is hosting a special event at Thruxton just a couple weeks after our visit to the circuit. The iRacing special event will be treated as an ATC special event too! The top scoring alpha and delta in the event will each be recognized.
Livery competition, winning livery featured in the ATC15 poster and introduction video
The livery competition will be back! Full entry details will be posted closer to season start.
Rulebook tweaks & staff additions
We have slightly tweaked penalty grouping to help the stewards themselves when judging which penalties to apply, along with a few minor changes to wording here and there.
The ATC team has also changed and expanded for this upcoming season. James Carr has retired from his post as steward. Thank you for all of your hard work these past two years, James. In his absence we have added Micah Hendricks, Damon Mitchell, and Evan Clavijo to the team. Be sure to give them a warm welcome!
This concludes our ATC14 rundown.
