Comparison to Past Seasons

  • This season had 5 unique winners, the lowest number since Season 7. The past three seasons have each had 8, 9, and 8 respectively.
  • This season set a record for the highest average incidents per round, at 306x. It also set the per race record, at 216x.
  • This season had the second-fewest lead changes all-time, with 27.
  • This season had the third-highest average SOF all-time, with 2,518. The record is held by Season 8, with 2,543.
  • The series’ streak of races with a grid of 20 cars or more has now been extended to 56. The streak started at round 9 of Season 8.
  • This season’s average margin of victory was +5.05 seconds, much bigger than last season’s +1.66, and the largest since Season 7’s +5.28 seconds. The series’ all-time average is +4.42.
  • The series has now run 240 races all-time.
  • Round 4 at Interlagos had the most DNFs, with 8. That is T-9th all-time. The record is 11.

Individual Stats

  • Michael Polasek scored 6 feature race wins, tying the record held by Wojciech Swirydowicz, set in Season 7.
  • Christian Ost accrued 61x incidents in a single race at Sandown, breaking the previous shared record of 32x held by Brian Ballard and Andrew Benagh.
  • Of drivers with 6+ appearances, Kirk Lane had the best net positions per race with +4.2. Mike de Almeida had the worst with -6.0.
  • Logan McKinzie has moved past both Francois Shink and Slugnificent up into 3rd all-time in race wins with 28. He also had a career-best 6 wins this season.
  • Jacob Whalley now sits T-3rd for most Delta wins all-time. He now has 13, tied with former teammate and fellow Delta champion, Justin Rhodes.
  • Christian S. Ost moved into T-5th most Delta wins all-time, tied with Eric Statzer at 9.
  • Michael Polasek went from 13th for most wins all-time at the start of the season to 9th all-time. He is on pace to pass Jon Lauzon, James D Carr, and Jérôme Bajulaz next season. His win total this season was good for T-6th best all-time.
  • Spencer Clarke became only the second Delta driver all-time to score an overall podium at New Hampshire. The only other driver to do this was Connor Accettella, back in Season 5 at Red Bull Ring National. No Delta driver has won an overall race yet. Accettella’s losing margin of 1.1 seconds is still the closest one has come.

Team Stats

  • Breakfast 4 Dinner becomes the first team in history to score both an Alpha and Delta Team Championship podium in the same season.
  • Jacob Whalley scored enough points alone to place 3rd in the Delta Team Championship.
  • Yellow Flag Motorsport is now tied with Curb your Enthusiasm Autosport for most Alpha Team Championships all-time with 3.
  • Yellow Flag Motorsport has still appeared on every Team Championship podium since its inception, and has appeared on each step of it at least twice.
  • Breakfast 4 Dinner scored their 6th podium, second-most all-time.
  • Yellow Flag Motorsport breaks the record for most team victories in one season, with 13. The previous record was held by CYEA, with 8 last season.
  • Complx Penguin Racing and yart are the only two teams that landed on the Delta Team Championship podium in both of its first two seasons.
