In just one week, the series will visit Twin Ring Motegi for its 100th race of all-time. In honor of this benchmark, we look back at the 15 different race winners the series has seen over the past two and a half years, continuing with 10 to 6.
Edward Gorman
First Start | 04/24/2023 S7 R6

| START | ALL WINS | WIN | HWIN | POLE | PODIUM | TOP5 | TOP10 | LAPS | LED | AVGQ | AVGF | INC/LAP |
| 9 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 5 | 5 | 9 | 343 | 44 | 5.67 | 4.22 | 0.195 |
Currently the least experienced race winner, Gorman drives like a seasoned veteran. Top 10 in every career start and all but one sprint race, Gorman has opened Season 8 by finishing on the podium in 6 of the 8 race sessions thus far. Gorman won in just his 6th start in the Season 7 finale at Barber, where he expertly navigated to 1st from his 5th place grid position quickly enough to build the gap he needed to win. Just two races later, he would win the second race of Season 8 with a commanding margin of four seconds, in another masterclass of overtaking where he went from 6th to 1st. The Honda pilot is now one of the series’ hottest upcoming drivers.
Joseph Oetzell
First Start | 03/15/2021 S1 R7

| START | ALL WINS | WIN | HWIN | POLE | PODIUM | TOP5 | TOP10 | LAPS | LED | AVGQ | AVGF | INC/LAP |
| 23 | 4 | 3 | 1 | 4 | 14 | 17 | 21 | 941 | 76 | 6.57 | 4.26 | 0.210 |
Oetzell is a name firmly associated with the Audi-era of the series. After his first start, he would take a podium finish in each of his next five starts, a streak that culminated at the Season 1 finale at Daytona. During this time, Oetzell would finish two tenths behind Francois Shink at Road Atlanta and inherit the win via penalty, but he hadn’t yet scored an official win on track. Arriving at Daytona, the Californian drove expertly after starting on pole and staying out of early crashes to win his first race on track. Oetzell would win two more races, at Suzuka and Laguna Seca, during Season 2. His performance at Suzuka East was perhaps his finest, going from 19th to 1st in a thirty minute feature race. Oetzell would retire after Season 3, making a brief re-appearance for one race during Season 6.
Jérôme Bajulaz
First Start | 06/07/2021 S2 R2

| START | ALL WINS | WIN | HWIN | POLE | PODIUM | TOP5 | TOP10 | LAPS | LED | AVGQ | AVGF | INC/LAP |
| 75 | 12 | 5 | 7 | 6 | 12 | 26 | 50 | 2605 | 171 | 5.23 | 9.91 | 0.335 |
With the 5th most starts of all time, Bajulaz boasts one of the series’ most complete resumes. After joining the series for Season 2, Bajulaz quickly began finishing well and won three sprint races in his first five starts. He would only have to wait until his 9th start to find victory lane. Arriving at Watkins Glen for the 13th race of the season, he qualified 2nd and then ran away from the field in the feature race, securing his maiden win by over eight seconds. He opened Season 3 in top form, bagging a second win at Tsukuba at a grueling short layout. He would take victory at Silverstone three weeks later. His final two victories arrived back-to-back, the first being the Season 3 finale at Daytona where his pit strategy and fuel management masterclass won the day. At the Season 4 opener, he drove with Francois Shink breathing down his neck all day and didn’t falter. He has participated in every season since, and has remained a common name to see inside the Top 10.
Jon Lauzon
First Start | 02/22/2021 S1 R4

| START | ALL WINS | WIN | HWIN | POLE | PODIUM | TOP5 | TOP10 | LAPS | LED | AVGQ | AVGF | INC/LAP |
| 82 | 10 | 5 | 5 | 6 | 19 | 28 | 52 | 2854 | 261 | 5.16 | 10.52 | 0.352 |
Very few were here before Jon Lauzon. Scoring a podium in his first start, he would get his first career victory during the seventh round of Season 1 at Tsukuba. He led 59/60 laps and finished nearly thirteen seconds ahead in a dominating performance. His next victory would be four months later in the middle of Season 2, taking advantage of other drivers’ misfortunes and winning at the difficult Sebring Club layout. Jon would have to wait a full year and thirteen days until his next victory, winning five sprint races in the interim. In the second race of Season 5, he was inverted onto the feature race pole at Laguna and drove to his long-awaited third victory, then won back-to-back races in rounds 6 and 7 to prove it wasn’t a fluke, but a true return to form. After 82 starts and counting, he continues to fight at the top end of the field.
James D Carr
First Start | 03/14/2022 S4 R1

| START | ALL WINS | WIN | HWIN | POLE | PODIUM | TOP5 | TOP10 | LAPS | LED | AVGQ | AVGF | INC/LAP |
| 52 | 9 | 6 | 3 | 9 | 18 | 27 | 38 | 1859 | 270 | 3.77 | 7.79 | 0.368 |
The Breakfast 4 Dinner owner-driver himself. James Carr began his career as a privateer in the, at the time, increasingly marginalized Audi. Podiums in three of his first four starts showed promise, and Carr would continue to collect them until the eighth round of Season 5 at Donington. He didn’t put a foot wrong in qualifying, securing pole over some of the series’ best drivers ever, winning the sprint race, then going from 5th to 1st to win the feature race. This ended a record-long wait of 21 races before his first victory. It was a statement performance, a warning that he backed up with a win at Mosport two weeks later, and another at Road Atlanta in the season finale to finish a hat trick of Season 5 victories. He would do the same in Season 6, starting in the fourth race at Suzuka. He raced from 8th to 1st in the feature race, then dominated the entire day at Hungaroring the next week to win from pole, capping off his two most impressive drives to that point. He completed the trio at Rudskogen’s feature race, an impressive recovery from two weaker sprint races. Carr scored three podiums in Season 7 and is currently on sabbatical, still operating as B4D’s manager.
Check back in later this week for drivers 5-1.
