This week, the ATC travels to the land down under and a track long since lost to time(and housing development). Oran Park is a tight, winding course with wild elevation changes and an incredibly dangerous entry into turn 1. It’s also the series’ first Sprint Challenge of the season. Featuring back-to-back 15 minute heat races, topped off by a reverse-grid 30 minute feature.
Can Michael Polasek maintain his incredible pace in the much tighter Sprint Challenge format? The blazing heat will mean grip is a premium resource during the races. The sun may also be a factor as it sets in the evening skies, coming directly into the vision of drivers.
